My Amazon Kindle - Buying Decision

 I am (was!) a conventional book reader. Moving from reading a physical book to Ebook was a big decision for me. Initially, I weighed the pros and cons. Please note that this was my analysis prior to purchasing this gadget. The analysis had been changed ever since I started using the product.

PROS

• Huge book library in one place
• Built-in dictionary
• Portability

CONS

• No direct support for my native language (Sinhala). Fortunately, I read more English books compared to Sinhalese. Hence not a big disadvantage
• The cost. I could have bought dozens of books for the amount I pay
• Book collection is mainly restricted to Amazon store
• Oh I miss that "paper smell"

As you can see, the negative side is more than the pros. However, I made a bold decision. I took the risk and bought! 

Now I have used this for the last 4 months. Await for the postmortem !!!
